The donation of…Playtime
Whilst hospitals support critically ill children, here at Mac House it is our job to support the rest of the family that are staying with us. We know that the siblings of a critically ill child can feel worried and alone and that visiting their brother or sister in hospital can be a very scary time.
Your donation of £10.00 could help our family support team to provide welcome packs and activities for siblings, where they can have some fun and meet other children that are going through the same things as they are.
A sibling welcome pack provides lots of fun activities to keep children entertained while they are on the ward visiting their brother or sister or in their room at Mac House. Our family support team organise activities for siblings to give them some time to forget about everything else going on and have some fun playing with other children.
Your £10 donation could help to bring fun and laughter for children with a critically ill brother or sister.
Every year Ronald McDonald House Liverpool welcomes over 2000 families of critically ill children who are patients at Alder Hey Hospital into our home from home accommodation. We need to raise £700,000 each year so these families can stay with us free of charge in one of the 84 rooms for as long as their child is in hospital. It’s supporters like you who ensure that no family is separated from their child, or each other, at this difficult time.
You’ll receive an email to acknowledge your donation, as well as a downloadable gift certificate to share if you are giving this as a gift. All donations received from our virtual gift campaign will support the core running of the house, ensuring that families are kept together without worrying about the cost.
