Corporate and Business fundraising for Mac House delivers something that gives genuine meaning to that well used phrase “win win”. Your donations and gifts in kind are recognised as a very visible demonstration of a CSR policy that gives back to the community but, this is about much more. Your support delivers tangible help for many families, the difference your company and its staff can make is powerful, crystal clear and inspirational.
Our Charity of the Year partnerships offer the chance to be involved, not just in raising vital funds to help families and their children, but also to be involved in the life of Mac House – read here of the very visible win win partnership, the impact on team building and staff morale and just the sheer respect, dignity and feel great factor that is part of being involved with this amazing charity.
Improved staff morale and team working are two reasons often quoted to us by companies we work with as added value from their involvement with Mac House – the feel-good factor and positive brand associations and publicity across our social media, professionally produced website, promotional materials and well written press releases / story content, make a partnership with us an exciting, exhilarating and quality relationship.
There are a huge number of ways to support us !! Take a look at the list of ideas on this page and read the feedback from companies who have been, and/or already are, involved !! Your team can add their own ideas and approach and we know that this ‘ownership’ of the fundraising effort is one of the reasons companies enjoy working with Mac House.
“We chose Mac House as our 16/17 Charity of the Year because team members were aware of the large numbers of families from Warrington who stay in the House and told us how much of a lifeline it was for them at a really difficult and stressful time. We loved working with the fundraising team from Mac House and their enthusiastic and professional volunteers who bag packed and collected whilst always engaging with our customers – so it’s been no surprise to see them quickly invited back to M&S Gemini for some one-off collection opportunities”.
Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre – Charity of the Year partnership across 16/17
‘What we we love about getting involved with Mac House in a Charity of the Year partnership is the way the charity has engaged with our team members, encouraging the different teams within the hotel to come up with their own ideas and yes, adding a bit of fun and competition into things ! We’ve had teams making and selling gorgeous cakes and others getting sponsored for exercise sessions on the dock ! The whole hotel has become part of this and we are so pleased with money we have raised for Mac House and the positive impact it has on our business”. Very proud to be part of helping families in our community”.
Maxwell Hodge – a Charity of the Year partner during 17/18
”Maxwell Hodge are delighted to have become involved in a Charity of the Year partnership with Ronald McDonald House Liverpool, or, as our team have quickly got used to saying, Mac House !! Our 8 offices all have families in their area who have been helped by the charity at a really tough time for them. Our team are delighted by the different ways we can work together to raise vital funds for the House, and also benefit ourselves from some team building activities, it’s a really engaging and lively partnership that is fun to be involved with but also very clearly makes a huge difference to families”.
Cyberfrog Design Liverpool – donated the full design & build of this hugely needed new website and are supporting our ongoing website use and development.
”Cyberfrog Design are really pleased to be able to donate our time and expertise in the creation and build of this website, something we know was much needed as the charity simply hasn’t had a professionally designed website presence before. We visited the House and immediately we knew we wanted to help. Our whole team has been involved and we love the way our support is playing a part in telling the world just how amazing this charity is. We would recommend any business, large or small, to get involved supporting this charity that is there for families and their children when it matters most. This really is a House that Love Built”.
Bolland and Lowe – actively supporting Mac House with a number of fundraising events and professional creative design and marketing input.
“Bolland and Lowe are one of the North’s leading creative agencies and we especially wanted to be involved with a charity that has both local and NW Regional reach and that has a strong focus on families. We have loved doing events for the House, our hugely popular “Cake-Off” event looks like becoming an annual event and we even ran a bake stall alongside the charities Abseil challenge. We are proud to be a big part of the 25th Anniversary Year committee and see this partnership as a classic win win relationship”.
Business Network International – supporting Mac House’s membership of the BNI new Chapter of the year, ‘Atlantic’ based in Liverpool.
“BNI Atlantic is delighted to have Mac House as one of our members and it’s great to see how our entire Chapter has welcomed the charity which is much respected for its professionalism and enthusiasm. We have members from all sorts of successful local businesses who have supported Mac House in many different ways, as a priority raising much needed funds, but also helping out in the House with things like maintenance and providing discounted services. We get a lot from this relationship as the charities experienced professional Fundraising Manager plays a full part in our referral and recommendation activities and is also now a mentor to new members”.
McDonalds restaurants across our area – loyal and enthusiastic supporters of Mac House through their amazing “crew” who personally volunteer to help us out at our collections, bagpacks, some events and, can even be found doing ‘deep cleans’ in Mac House itself. Superb staff who care about Mac House and are always so welcome when supporting us in all sorts of ways which has often included giving up their time to ‘trek’ in sponsored walks for us or organise a family fun day in their local community.
