Chef Sean Paul Redding, celebrity chef to the stars and a proud Texan, went back to his roots and gave our families a Thanksgiving meal to remember.
The menu was mouth watering and included herb and citrus butter roasted turkey, Apple Walnut Stuffing, Maple Merengue Sweet Potato Casserole and Ultimate Mash. There was much more and for desert…..Pumkin Chocolate Cheesecake !!
All the food was kindly provided by the Johnson Foundation and we are very grateful to them and of course, to Chef Sean Paul and his wonderfull assistant and brilliant pastry chef Jenny, for a truly sumptuous meal……and we must mention the help we had on the night from our great friends John Lowe and Cath Robinson who served, laid tables, and even helped Gill and Denise and the team with the washing up !!
Another lovely family occasion at the House that Love Built thanks to the kindness of our supporters.
Note….every Tuesday we have a family meal and tho understandably not quite as starry as the special occasions provided by some amazing top chefs who grace our dining area from time to time, this Tuesday night get together is we know much appreciated by our families and is a chance to spend just a few minutes eating a meal prepared for you, meeting other families and generally just relaxing.
